Urban Ministry
The Lexington Eagles works alongside Churches to send individuals into diverse and marginalized neighborhoods in the urban areas of Lexington as coaches and neighbors to love, disciple, and empower youth. Our soccer outreach through Urban provides a positive place of belonging and engagement for youth in the community.

Our Promise to Neighbors
We promise that our homes will not be our private hiding places. We will use our homes in a daily way that seeks to make strangers into neighbors, and neighbors into family of God. Our job as a Lexington Eagles does not mean confining the sharing of the love of Jesus Christ to normal work hours, but instead living our whole lives on a mission. Our homes will be refuges for the lost, hospitals for the sick, and open tabernacles for everyone in our neighborhood.

Incarnational Ministry

Neighborhood Pickup
In each neighborhood, staff host a weekly soccer pickup in the fall & spring that serves not only as time to develop soccer skills, but also to build relationships, work on homework, and share God’s word.

Block Parties
Throughout the year, Lexington Eagles host block parties in each neighborhood. This provides a time to connect with families, play soccer, share the gospel, and have fun.

Bible Studies
In seeking to introduce people to Jesus Christ, teach them to follow Him, and empower them as leaders through the global environment of soccer, Bible studies allow us to go deeper into God’s word with kids.
