Trident FC Transition

Trident FC Transition

Beginning with the 2026–2027 season, Trident FC has officially joined the Lexington Eagles. We are excited for the opportunity to welcome and serve Trident players and families while continuing to strengthen our partnership with Trinity Christian Academy.

Throughout this transition, our goal is to provide families with a strong, organized soccer experience while staying true to the mission and values of the Lexington Eagles. We look forward to investing in these players, coaches, and families both on and off the field as we grow together.

Phased Transition

The transition of Trident FC into the Lexington Eagles will take place through a phased approach, allowing us to thoughtfully serve players, families, coaches, and Trinity Christian Academy throughout the process.

Phase 1 – Club Program Transition

  • Lexington Eagles assumes leadership of Trident FC’s club teams.

  • Trident FC continues to lead and operate its recreational soccer programs and SkillJoy.

Phase 2 – Full Program Transition

  • Lexington Eagles assumes leadership of all remaining Trident FC programs, completing the transition of Trident FC into the Lexington Eagles.

What does this mean for families?

For families, our goal is to make this transition as smooth and positive as possible. You may notice some changes along the way—things like communication, registration, scheduling, uniforms, or other club processes—as we work to bring everything together under the Lexington Eagles.

Through each of our decisions, we want you to know that our players and families will be at the center of what we’re doing. We’ll continue evaluating what is working, where we can improve, and how we can best serve our players, our families, and the communities we are a part of—including being a good neighbor and partner to the Trinity Christian Academy community.

We know transitions can bring questions, and we’re committed to communicating openly as we move forward.

Ultimately, everything we do points back to our vision: to see lives transformed through teams that motivate people to follow Christ.
